Lactation

Brimo 2mg Eye Drop is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.To reduce the amount of Brimo 2mg Eye Drop that reaches the breastmilk, place pressure over the corner of the eye for 1 minute or more, then remove the excess solution with an absorbent tissue.

Driving

Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Brimo 2mg Eye Drop may cause blurred or abnormal vision. This effect may seem worse at night or in reduced lighting and this may affect the ability to drive.

Uses of Brimo Eye Drop
Brimo 2mg Eye Drop is used in the treatment of ocular hypertension and glaucoma.

How to use Brimo Eye Drop
This medicine is for external use only.Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye/ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid or ear. Wipe off extra liquid.

How Brimo Eye Drop works
Brimo 2mg Eye Drop decreases the pressure in the eyeball by decreasing the formation of aqueous humor (clear watery fluid filling the space in front of an eyeball ).

Side Effects:

Common Headache, Foreign body sensation in eyes, Blurred vision, Dryness in mouth, Burning sensation in eye, Conjunctival hyperemia , Fatigue, Stinging in the eyes, Drowsiness, Eye itching, Allergic reaction in eye.

Expert advice for Brimo Eye Drop
Helps lower high pressure in the eye and reduces the risk of vision loss. For best results, put one drop 2-3 times daily in the affected eye(s). Brimo may cause allergic reaction in the form of eyelid swelling, eye discomfort, foreign-object sensation, redness and itching. Notify your doctor if any of these occur. Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after instilling the drop. This minimizes the risk of side effects. Take care to prevent contact of eye dispenser with eye, eyelid, eyelashes, or finger to avoid infection. Remove contact lenses before using Betagan and allow at least 15 minutes before re-inserting them. When applying multiple eye medications, wait for at least 5-15 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.
